Goodbyes

Goodbyes

On the 18th of september, came the day I had to say goodbye for a month. As I had to go back in France to present my internship to my teachers, I had no choice but accepting to leave the paradise I had. All the ones I love came with me to the airport, and I felt so good with them, I didn't want to cross the security line before the last call. Fortu

Dolphin center

Yesterday morning, Adele and I went to the InterContinental Resort & Spa to take a chance to swim with the three dolphins they have there. And we did ! Pictures speak by themselves, it was an incredible moment. It's another dream that came true ! Loved it !!!
25th bithday in Moorea

25th bithday in Moorea

Yep, I celebrated 25 years old in Paradise ! My adoptive family here made a great diner, and a special chocolate cake. It's a funny story : my friend Diane (in Paris) tought me how to do this cake, and I did it in Moorea to make them discover it. So I tought them how to cook the ingredients, and they did it for me on my birthday. I received gifts f
Last sunsets

Last sunsets

Now that my internship is over, I have a bit more of free times to take pictures around me. Here are some of the sunsets I shoot, because I found them absolutely fabulous, and I thought you could enjoy them as much as I did :)
Whales season

Whales season

During august in Polynesia, we have an amazing chance to have the "whales season". They come here to give birth, or find a new lover for a while. As I'm not really aware about whales and their lifestyles, I can't really give you more informations ! All I know is they come over here for approximatively 3 months, and if you're not a good swimer, you
The ultimate souvenir

The ultimate souvenir

So yes, I went shopping for my friends and family to bring them some souvenirs from the other side of the world. Yes, I got some "monoi", "pareos", "black pearls" and "vanilla soaps", even a "ukulele" for my brother ! All "classical stuffs" right ? For myself, I wanted a special souvenir, cultural and a permanent one (as I did when I came back from
Girls night out

Girls night out

How my Polynesian experience might be deeper from the inside ? By having a night out in Papeete ! Tea, Adele and I went to the famous nightclub : The Velvet, on mother's day. It was not so crowded and the price not so expensive. I was used to the Parisian prices, I can say it's quite the same. We had a great time !! I also tasted the "centipede rhu
Tuamotu Islands

Tuamotu Islands

Last week, we had 2 bank holidays. We took another day off, and we had 5 days to go on vacation. Adele and I, decided to visit the Tuamotu Islands which are only 50 minutes away from Tahiti by plane (Air Tahiti). We booked two guest houses on two different islands : Rangiroa and Tikehau. The first one is a paradise for diving and snorkeling, the ot
Floods in the lagoon

Floods in the lagoon

I had to face the floods during my last internship in Bangkok, Thaïland. And I had to face it here also, on an island ! The meteo was terrible for some days, and the ocean was horribly strong. The water came into the lagoon and flooded the house we used for the wedding ceremonies, on the water.
Heiva I Tahiti 2013

Heiva I Tahiti 2013

As I'm working for a traditionnal polynesian village, all my co-workers and my friends are artists : singers or dancers. A month ago, they invited me to join them for the Heiva, and be on stage with them... I was a bit curious, so I made researches on it : The Heiva is an anual and traditionnal competition on many cultural domains. You can see coco
